I met a gal on the city bus a couple weeks ago, and I asked how long she'd been out on the street. She said, "Seven days." I said, "Where are you staying?" She said, "With you." I was startled, but I kept talking to her about this and that. Then I had to catch another bus and I gave her the usual two bucks. She said something like "You are the Lamb of God," so I felt pretty good. Later on I thought, "Hmm, maybe I should have invited her over to my place," because I am also the Wolf of God. I guess I followed my finer instincts to know, love, and serve God. 😊

Well, you gotta serve *somebody*! Better the Lord than the devil.
